Bee + sfeerplaatjes

Ondanks het regenachtige weer van vandaag was iedereen per fiets/auto gekomen en werd het weer een gezellige middag met elkaar.

    

Lisette heeft bij het Quilterspalet in Den Haag een workshop 'Needleturn' gevolgd en liet dit lapje met een mandje zien. Ze gaat het ons de volgende keer ook leren. We moeten dan allemaal 2 lapjes van ca. 15 bij 15 cm meenemen.

Inger maakt van allerlei scraps dit enige kleine quiltje met het bekende klosjespatroon. 

De kleuren zijn in het echt warmer en mooier dan hier op deze  foto.

Gisteravond ben ik ook nog lekker bezig geweest. 

Met allerlei mooi groen uit onze tuin heb ik deze zinken schaal gevuld.

Eerst natuurlijk 2 blokken oasis gebruikt, daarna een rand erop gemaakt met wat coniferengroen.  Daarbinnen heb ik toen alles opgevuld met rozenbottels, takjes met oranje besjes en wat klimop.

Hier kun je het ook van bovenaf zien.

Omdat ik nog net genoeg over had, heb ik ook deze schaal gevuld.

Een leuk begin om de herfstsfeer in huis te brengen, vinden jullie ook niet ?

Tuindagje + Mooie wijsheid

Nu het weer zo mooi geworden is, waren er een aantal plantjes aan het wachten totdat ik ze hun definitieve plek gaf. 

Om ook het openbare groen en de bijenvolken te ondersteunen, heb ik gisteren samen met mijn achterbuurvrouw in de tuinwinkel een aantal lavendelplantjes gekocht.
Langs het fietspad hebben we bij elke boom 4 plantjes neergezet.
Als je straks langs ons huis fietst ga je door een wolkje lavendelgeur.
Misschien ook een ideetje voor jullie ?

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
